Why You Should Use A Hand Cream

You wouldn’t wash your face without applying a moisturiser, so why not do the same for your hands? Hands are our tools and they allow us to carry out daily tasks in the home, at work and in the garden. But we all too often neglect them, leaving them defenceless to the environment and in poor condition. One of the first places to show any signs of ageing, your hands can easily give the game away if you neglect them. Using a hand cream is the best way to repair and restore damaged hands, ensuring that they not only look younger but feel softer too. The skin on the back of your hands is decidedly different to the skin on your palms. The skin on top of your hands is much thinner and has less sebaceous glands, meaning it can become dry very quickly. In comparison, the skin on your palms is a lot thicker, so for moisture to penetrate this area a hand cream needs to be rich and full of moisture binding ingredients. Along with everyday tasks; exposure to water, chemicals and severe temperature...

Bubbler, so water "touch" is also comfortable

Do not know if you have not noticed, and some faucet water is directly like a water pipe, a rough water flow, if the faucet to the maximum suddenly, I feel the pressure is relatively large, but also easy to splash everywhere. And some faucet water is like a bubble, with a more comfortable than the previous one. The difference is caused by a small bubbler. In fact, the majority of faucets in homes and hotels are round, that is basically installed. Bubbler role of science: Faucet faucet is installed at the outlet of the water "pipe flow" into a "line flow" in the process of full contact with water and air fusion, resulting foam effect, the water softer, to prevent Splashes, after the air pressure so that water has power, saving water while not affecting the normal use. Install the bubbler can also effectively filter impurities to prevent the accumulation of dirt and reduce the possibility of bacterial growth in the efficient water-saving energy saving env...

Do men need to use protective hand cream as much as women do?

SOFTER HANDS, STRONGER NAILS Being good to your hands and nails is about having good daily habits and choosing the right products to use on them. A few small changes could make a difference in how your hands and nails look and feel. WebMD asked dermatologists Jeffrey Dover, MD, associate clinical professor of dermatology at the Yale School of Medicine, and Heather Woolery-Lloyd, MD, assistant professor of dermatology at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, for guidance in knowing what’s good for your hands. Moisturizing Your Hands Hand creams have as much to offer as face creams. Most also come in “quick absorbing” formulations so your hands won’t feel greasy. Some key ingredients include: Retinol to keep skin moist Peptides along with other ingredients such as B vitamins to relax muscles and boost collagen production to keep the skin on your hands smooth Vitamin C and glycolic acid to help treat age spots, wrinkling, and loss of elasticity Alpha- and beta-hydr...

Coconut Oil: 10 Things You Can Do With This Wonder Product

Useful for everything from hair conditioning and teeth-cleaning to shaving and removing makeup - and don't get us started on how smooth it makes skin - this is what you need to know about the benefits of coconut oil.   Coconut oil rocks our world for many reasons, the main one being that it's  so cheap (a £10 500ml jar can last up to a year) and can be used for so many things. It's solid until it reaches 25C, making it easy to spread or use as a body cream, or as a hair mask when liquid. Forget your huge wash bag when you’re packing for your summer holiday - a jar of this is all you’ll need! It's worth noting that not all coconut oils are created equal. You'll definitely want to opt for unrefined oil, as it's closer to its natural state and hasn't been filtered using bleaching clay, unlike the refined version. If you can, go for organic to ensure it's pesticide-free, or cold-pressed, meaning it's been extracted from the coconut in a way...

Using homemade, natural skin care can help improve your overall complexion and give your skin a healthy glow. Can you use hand cream for your face?

There’s a lot of us who like to  stay put under the covers for just a bit longer while the alarm clock keeps ringing, but that extra bit of rest comes at a price.  Because then you have to get up in a hurry (usually about 20 minutes after you were planning to get up) and you have just 10 minutes to get ready, wash yourself, put on your make-up… (Some people do this on the subway. I tip my hat to them. Making a perfect line of eye liner with all that shaking? That’s impressive.) Caught up in this morning stress, it’s probably occurred to you to  secretly use your hand cream for your face too while you were at it, in order to save time… Oh no! What have you done?! I know the cosmetics industry isn’t the most altruistic one around and sometimes it creates needs just to make money, but in this case, there are separate hand products and face products  for a good reason. Explanation: By their nature,  the skin of your face and that of yours hands aren’t th...

Why you need to use a hand cream daily and multiple times throughout the day

Even after I started doing my best to take really good care of my skin  {thank you to my 30th birthday for making me realize I am not getting any younger},  and especially taking focus on the care of my nails, I didn’t initially see the point in using a hand cream.  I thought,  “IF applying moisturizer to my hands {because, I’ll be real with you, I didn’t make a point to do it much at first}, can’t I just use any ol’ lotion?” However, after using a moisturizer specifically for my hands, and seeing what a difference it really does make, I am not sure I will ever be able to go back to using just any ol’ lotion on my hands.  Plus, I now see the benefit of using a hand cream, multiple times throughout the day, to ensure that my skin is properly cared for.  I can tell, very clearly, when I haven’t used a hand cream in a while as my hands begin to feel dry. The type of skin your hands have Did you know that the skin on your hands is one of the...
